30937- GEORGIAN OR CAUCASIAN QAMAS KINJAL AND SCABBARD WITH SILVER INLAY CIRCA EARLY 19TH CENTURY. 24” o/a with 17” blade with maker touch mark in center fuller. Bone hilt with brass mounts. Cloth covered wood scabbard with steel mounts decorated with very fine silver floral and geometric inlay. Nice old attic patina. Qamas kinjal of the type used in Georgia as well as by Cossacks tribes of surrounding states.
